Rio Ruidoso Sewer Line

Project Description

Due to the potential of future damage to the sanitary sewer line and its location in the floodplain, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) was committed to assist in funding the relocation of the sanitary sewer line away from the river. The civil engineering consultant required large scale mapping to be used for design and construction of 12 miles of sewer line from the Mescalero Reservation / Village of Ruidoso boundary to the Regional Waste Water Treatment Plant for the City of Ruidoso. ATM provided 1:3600 photo scale, color photo coverage to prepare 1″ =50′, 1 foot topographical information, planimetric detail and orthophoto for this project. The photography consisted of nine (9) flight lines and seventy-eight (78) exposures. Working closely with the land surveyor, ATM strategically placed sixty-six (66) control points required for the aerial survey.
