Santa Rosa Airport

Project Description

The goal of this project was to perform an Aeronautical Survey with Vertical Guidance as required as part of the Airport Master Plan (AMP) for the creation of an Electronic Airport Layout Plan (EALP). The survey data collection and subsequent submittal of the survey data complied with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars (AC) 150/5300-16A, 150/5300-17C, and 150/5300-18B, as well as procedures provided in Airport GIS (AGIS). ATM provided both 1:3300 and 1:19200 photo scale color photography which consisted of nine flight lines and 84 exposures. Utilizing ABGPS, a total of 34 control points were placed for the aerial survey. Both three inch and one foot pixel orthophotography was developed with 1 foot contours generated from the low level flight.
