Southern Nevada Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital

Project Description

In August 2006, the VA selected Parsons to provide program and construction management (PM/CM) services for the new medical center near Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas at Pecos Road and the Woodbury Beltway. The estimated construction cost for this 150-acre hospital, known as the Crown Jewel of the VA, is $650 million. Major components of the project include a 790,000 square foot medical center tower, a 120-bed nursing home care unit, a 20-bed mental health facility, and a 47,000 square foot energy center. Project specifications included 40 scale topographical mapping with 1’ contours and digital orthophotography.
